A: Teri's List is a weekly publication of the lowest-priced products at your supermarket or drugstore matched with manufacturers' coupons and specials - advertised and unadvertised. Teri does all the hard work and research, and presents it to you in a straightforward format. Log in each week and print your list!
A: We publish UN-advertised sales as well as advertised sales. There are many more sales offered in your store than are mentioned in the sales ad, so if you rely only on the ads to help you make your shopping decisions, you will waste a LOT of money.
Our databases indicate whether we should wait, and whether the coupon will still be good once the "Rock Bottom Sale" cycles back through. We also track categorical sales trends, which affect these cycles.
A: Our research shows that the List consistently beats warehouse pricing.
A: You can try Teri's List for 28 days for FREE. At the end of your trial, you'll automatically become a full member. If you prefer to decline membership you must do so before automated billing begins. Be sure and cancel before the 28th day of your trial.
A: The cost for a 1 store membership is $10 every 8 weeks. That works out to about $1.25 per week. A 2 store membership is $15 every 8 weeks, a 3 store membership is $20 every 8 weeks and so on.

You will receive $5 credit on your account applied at your next billing cycle after your referred FRIEND graduates from their free trial. AND YOUR FRIEND will receive $5 credit on their account, at the time your FRIEND graduates from their free trial at the first billing cycle!
1.Log in with your username and password.
2.Find your personal referral link on the lower left
3.Click "Tweet It" "Post It!" or copy the link into an email. You can also click Refer Friends and we will send an email on your behalf.
The member's account must be current and active to receive credit; it cannot be a trial membership. Referred member must use the referrer’s link to receive credit. Credit cannot be given at a later time.
A qualifying referral is anyone who has not been credited to another member's account as a referral. Members cannot refer one another; it is a one-way street. For example, if Mary referred Jane, Jane may not refer Mary.
If the referrer's account is inactive, or if either party has not purchased an actual membership past the trial period, the referral will be pending. Once the member and the qualifying referral have active, full memberships (not a trial membership), the $5 credit will be applied to the next billing cycle.
Once referral credit has been added to a member's account, those referrals will appear as credited.
There is no limit to how many $5 credits you can earn. Tell all your friends about THE GROCERY GAME!

A: Supermarkets put items on sale according to categorical sales trends, a marketing term that means only certain items are on sale each week. If you shop only for what you need, you'll save on a small percentage of items and overspend on the others. To win the game, you should invest during the categorical sales.
A:
GREENs -- I receive these items FREE. I pay applicable tax.
BLUEs -- These are my best deals.
BLACKs -- These are luxury, convenience, or treats, but still are a good price. (These will appear white on the site, but will appear in black when printed).
A: I have extensive pricing databases which require 16-22 hours a week to maintain and update. Each sale item (advertised and UN-advertised) that also has a coupon is run through the database. The database then reveals whether or not that item is on a "Rock Bottom Sale".
Most sales go through cycles. If you see a coupon used on a black item, buy that item only if you need it. If you see a coupon used on a blue item, stock up! This is a "rock bottom" sale. Oftentimes, an item is not published even though there is a coupon AND it is on sale. My database even tells me how long it may be before a "Rock Bottom Sale" comes along.
If the coupon's expiration date permits, we wait for a "Rock Bottom Sale"... somewhat like a stock broker! This is only one example of what goes on behind the scenes each week to create The LIST! As you will find, your weekly savings are no coincidence. The LIST is strategically planned!
A: If it is black, buy it only if you need it now.
We use coupons on black items for the following scenarios:
1. The coupon is not of enough value to ever create a blue "rock-bottom" item.
2. We do not expect the item with a coupon to be on a "rock bottom" sale before the coupon expires.
3. The price is competitive, but the item may be slightly cheaper at a discount store. Since the item is competitively priced, we don't feel it's worth your time and gas to make a special trip elsewhere.
Note: Some areas repeat coupons. In these areas, the coupon will be listed first at a rock bottom price. This same item may appear at a later date.
A: Not always. Some sale items may be limited to selected varieties. Some prices may vary. This publication is intended as a reference guide for what is likely to be available at local supermarkets and drugstores.
A: Supermarket sales run in categorical sales trends. This is one of the reasons that it takes approximately 12 weeks to get a well rounded investment. Most categories go on sale for 3 weeks at a time. These sales trends are also characterized by seasons.
For example, during your trial you may mostly invest in 2 categories such as paper goods and toiletries. You will buy more than you need of those items because they are BLUE or GREEN. By doing this, you are building your investment in those categories. Then your investment will carry you through to the next paper goods and toiletries sales trend.
A: The List is created for coupons found in the Sunday paper with the largest circulation in your area. If you get a paper other than the one with the largest circulation, you may be missing a few coupons each week, but you should still be able to use the List and have great savings!
If you've just started stockpiling, you are still building your coupon file for the first 12 weeks. You may not have all the coupons on the List. Some coupons have been in our files for weeks or even months.
A:
Sunday newspaper -- Most of your coupons will come from the Sunday newspaper. Be sure to subscribe to the newspaper with the largest circulation for your area for the most coupons. We recommend home delivery.
Coupon Sources are notated on your list by date, so you don’t have to cut and file all your coupons from the Sunday paper.
SS 11/21, for example, means that coupon came in your Nov. 21st Sunday paper in the SmartSource insert. Other coupon sources in your Sunday paper are: RP = RedPlum, PG = Procter & Gamble, GM = General Mills.
Store coupons are listed similarly to above, with an icon on the list, next to the coupon source. If you hover over the icon, it will tell you where to find the coupon.
Mailed Ads -- Watch your mail for supermarket ads. Sometimes coupons appear in these ads that say "Manufacturer Coupon" on the top. Cut and file all manufacturers' coupons.
Store coupons are listed similarly to above, with an icon on the list, next to the coupon source. If you hover over the icon, it will tell you where to find the coupon.
Visit Teri's Coupon Center for GG1, GG2, GG3 and Cellfire (CF) coupons. Visit your grocery store's website or mobile app to load Kroger (DC) and/or Safeway Digital (LTC) coupons to your store card.
Teri's Coupon Center -- Our website is a great place to find all kinds of coupons in one place. We offer printable coupons, coupons to download to your cell phone or store club card, coupons by mail, even online auctions. Be sure to check out Teri's Coupon Center regularly. These coupons are updated daily. You can link to Teri's Coupon Center from the Home Page.
A: No need to keep a coupon file! We make it easy for you! Just keep your Sunday newspaper sections intact, and mark the date on the front. Keep them in a stack with the newest dated sections on top. Coupon dates are noted on the List so you only have to cut the coupons you need. Refer to the date and section on the list to find your coupons. This way, you only cut 20-30 coupons, instead of 150 each week. It should only take about 15 minutes to find your coupons each week, once you do it a few times.
You can also save by using only the coupons in the current Sunday newspaper.
All current coupons on the List are marked "New!" and Coupon Sources are notated on your list by date.

A:
1. Select all of the items that you desire for this week under the "Customize My List" tab.
2. Next, get all of your coupons together with the help of the "Gather My Coupons" tab.
3. Now select the "Print and Shop" tab. From here you can select the way you'd like your List sorted, and then click the PRINT button. Items from multiple stores will be separated automatically on the printout, so you don't need to print each store individually.
A: The information for the sale items can be found by clicking on the item. This item will then expand giving you the amount to buy, the size to buy, the original price, sale price and any coupon needed to obtain the "You Pay" price.
A: The new icon means that this item has a new coupon from this weeks newspaper.
A:
Here is how you use the new and improved Teri's List
1. CUSTOMIZING THE LIST
Once you have signed in, you'll be viewing the "Customize List" mode. From here, select one or more stores in the upper left box. The system will always default to check the first store on your list. If you want to view that store’s deals, leave only that store checked. Uncheck it, or add other stores for comparison shopping, then browse the deals, and click on the items you want to buy.
VIEWING THE DEALS
When you click a deal, it will expand, and its checkmark icon will turn green, indicating it's an item you intend to buy.
If you would like to see all deals expanded without checking each item, go to "Show/Hide", and choose "Show deals expanded", check "Now" or "My default", click "Save". Note there are other options in there for customizing the way you want to view your list either "now" or as "My default".
Back to your list, after you've clicked on a deal, it will reveal which, if any, coupons are needed in the area marked MANUFACTURER COUPON.
Visit Teri's Coupon Center for GG1, GG2, GG3 and Cellfire (CF) coupons. Visit your grocery store's website or mobile app to load Kroger (DC) and/or Safeway Digital (LTC) coupons to your store card.
You can change the quantity of any deal by clicking and editing it. Some deals require purchasing a certain quantity of items, so you won't be able to change to a lower number.
Notice your running subtotal on the left under “My Savings This Week”, each time you check an item or change the quantity.
You may see one or more word icons within a deal. Hover your mouse over any of them to see more useful information.
The color of an item (Green, Blue, or White) indicates the type of savings. White (previously called black) indicates a good deal, but only buy it if you need it now. Blue deals are for investing and Green are free! The more you invest, the more you'll save over time.
SEARCHING, FILTERING, AND SORTING
We've created several new tools to help you zero in on the deals that are of the most interest to you.
Click SEARCH to search by keyword and/or category. When finished, click RESET or the X icon, and all items will be displayed once again.
Click SHOW/HIDE to choose and save your preferences. You can do things like hide Baby products or only show Blue and Green items.
Click CHANGE SORTING... to see the available deals ordered any number of ways. Sort by Savings (%) to see the deals with the biggest savings first. Or, choose multiple stores, and sort by Description or Category for powerful comparison shopping!
2. GATHERING COUPONS
Here's the second major step for shopping with Teri's List. Click GATHER COUPONS to see which deals you've selected that rely on coupons.
The deals will be conveniently sorted by Coupon Source to make it easy for you to find the coupons you need quickly.
Coupon Sources are notated on your list by date, so you don’t have to cut and file all your coupons from the Sunday paper.
SS 11/21, for example, means that coupon came in your Nov. 21st Sunday paper in the SmartSource insert. Other coupon sources in your Sunday paper are: R = Redplum, P = Proctor & Gamble, GM = Generals Mills.
Store coupons are listed similarly to above, with an icon on the list, next to the coupon source. If you hover over the icon, it will tell you where to find the coupon.
Visit Teri's Coupon Center for GG1, GG2, GG3 and Cellfire (CF) coupons. Visit your grocery store's website to load Kroger (DC) and/or Safeway Digital (LTC) coupons to your store card.
3. PRINT AND SHOP
When you're done gathering coupons, it's time to Print your Shopping List and head to the store. After you click the PRINT AND SHOP button, just select the way you'd like your List sorted, and then click the PRINT button. Items from multiple stores will be separated automatically on the printout, so you don't need to print each store individually.

A: There may be up to four major holidays per year when there will be no list
Typically, the four major holidays are Christmas/Hanukah, New Year's Day, Passover/Easter, and Thanksgiving. However, depending on when other holidays fall on the calendar, we may end up not publishing a LIST on a different holiday than mentioned above. In these cases, the "four major holidays" may change each year depending on where they fall on the calendar and what happens with sales and coupons.
Our standard advice about holiday LIST availability is to always check the site; there may be a LIST after all!
